By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

All opinions expressed on the Site or its Content are the sole opinions of Dr. Christian Rauch or the collaborating parties ("Collaborators") on the Content, and not those of any other party, including but not limited to, the American University of Sharjah.

4. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the European Union (EU) without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service. This Service is operated out of Dubai (UAE). We make no claims concerning whether the Content may be downloaded or is appropriate for use outside of the UAE. If you access the Site from outside of the UAE, you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of your specific jurisdiction.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace the Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

You also acknowledge that the Content is and shall remain the property of Dr. Christian Rauch or any other party (each a "Contributor") that has been involved in the preparation or publication of the Content.

The Content of the Site, especially its freely downloadable parts, are solely intended for academic use. Any use of any Content in any non-academic, commercial and/or for-profit endeavor is strictly prohibited and requires the explicit permission of Dr. Christian Rauch.

You shall at no time assert any claims of ownership over any Content by reason of your use of it or this Site, and shall not grant or create or suffer to exist any lien or other security interest arising therefrom. These restrictions do not apply to Content that is provided for download on the Site which is explicitly permitted for use at the user’s/downloading party’s discretion within the boundaries of non-commercial academic and not-for-profit endeavors.

8. Commercial Use

The Site is neither a commercial endeavor creating income streams or profits, nor are there any plans to turn the Site and its Contents into such commercial endeavor anytime in the future. Consequently, none of the Content is being made available for commercial purposes and/or to create income streams or profits. The funds necessary to operate the Site are fully provided by Dr. Christian Rauch.

9. Privacy Policy

While using the Service, we may ask you to voluntarily provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, email address and affiliation. We will not share this information with any outside parties and only use it to verify and/or contact you as intended by the reason for collecting your personal data. While we do not use or collect “cookies” or other log- or browser-data, the third-party provider we use for operating the Site may collect such information for their purposes. We have no control over the third-party provider and therefore accept no responsibility or liability for its actions in this regard.
